The
Belfast International Airport is one of the major airports located 13.2
miles away of Belfast in Northern Ireland. The airport is also known as
the Aldergrove Airport, named after a village Aldergrove, situated
quite near to the airport. It lies immediately to the west of the
airport. The airfield was shared with the Royal Air Force base RAF
Aldergrove, till 2008. Now the base is the property of the airport is
known as Joint Helicopter Command Flying Station, Aldergrove.
