Leeds Bradford international Airportis
situated at Yeadon, Cityof Leeds Metro District in West Yorkshire,
England 11 km northwest of Leedscity centre.It was started in 1931 with
the name of Yeadon Aerodrome. Bradford,Leeds and Yorkshire region was
served by this and was the biggest airport inYorkshire. It was in the
public ownership before it got sold for 14.5 millionGBP to company named
Bridgepoint Capital.
It is also the highest airport in the England at the elevation of
681 ft. It has the
Public Use Aerodrome License that authorized for the public transport
and flight training.
