Indira Gandhi International Airport
or also known as New Delhi International Airport serves as the chief
civilian aviation hub for the National Capital Region of Delhi in India.
The airport is situated in Palam which is 9.3 miles south west of the
New Delhi Railway Station and 9.9 miles from the New Delhi city centre.
The airport was commonly known as New Delhi international, until it was
renamed after the former prime minister of India, Indira Gandhi.
